Product Description
Toh Aka Lane Garden
This shophouse is built in the most common style in George Town with the typical full width louvered shutters on the upper floors and the central comb door with two 'bat-shaped' air vents on either side. The upper floors windows have now been changed to glass louvers replacing the timber shutters of the past. Gardens filled with potted plants are often found along five foot ways (verandah) serving as pockets of greenery to the community along this narrow street.
